Updated September 20th 2016: Roy Bergerman released a statement regarding the potential program to be offered to players who are looking for a replacement to the old LL Bigs division. The message indicates that it is believed there will be viable option to offer baseball to players aged 17-19 within Canada. More details will follow but we are very hopeful that we will be able to offer a 17-19 division next year and will be proceeding to register our former Bigs players as usual when we open registration on December 1st.

On September 1st, Little League International announced that the Big League division would no longer be part of Little League effective immediately. You can read the announcement and the reasons behind it at this link: http://www.littleleague.org/media/llnewsarchive/2016/May-August/Little-League-International-Restructures-its-Teenage-Divisions.htm

At MSLL we were very disappointed with this announcement as we have a thriving Bigs division in our association with one or two teams every year.

We are looking into options as we want to ensure that all 17 to 19 year old players are all able to play next Spring.

Registration for 2017 will open on December 1st and we will be registering 17-19 year old players as normal. We will post updates on the division status as we receive them.

In the meantime, please sign this petition to let Little League International know how many players this decision has effected:
