Need Help Paying Registration Fees?

Mount Seymour Little League is a volunteer run organization with strong community values. One of our guiding principles comes to us from Little League International:

“Although leagues may assess a registration fee, used to purchase uniforms and equipment, maintain fields, etc., the fee cannot be a prerequisite for playing. The Little League philosophy does not permit any eligible candidate to be turned away. Emphasizing the spirit of Little League, rules require that every child plays in every game.”

With registration closing in a few days, we want to assure all families that every child in the MSLL catchment area is welcome to play in our league regardless of their ability to pay the registration fees.

So, what are your options if you need a little help?

Local Sports Funding Organizations

There are several sports funding associations in the Lower Mainland. You can apply directly to these associations and if your application is approved they will send the payment directly to MSLL.

In this case when you register with MSLL, simply select the “Financial Assistance” option and then email a copy of your funding application to registrar@msll.ca

If you apply for financial assistance and are either rejected or only receive a partial payment, please talk to us. In this case MSLL will generally waive the remaining amount.

The funding organizations that MSLL has worked with over the years include:

Talk to the MSLL Registrar

If you are unable to pay your fees now, but are also not in the position to apply for financial assistance – please reach out to the MSLL Registrar (registrar@msll.ca). We can discuss options with you such as installment payments, late payment or completing waving of fees depending on the individual circumstances.

While the matter of financial assistance can be a little delicate, we will absolutely respect your privacy. The process for applying for any form of financial assistance is kept completely confidential, including at the MSLL level. All decisions and discussions are done without using the player or family name.

At MSLL we are committed to providing whatever support is needed to ensure that all kids that want to play baseball are out on the diamond in the Spring.
