Mount Seymour  will once again be participating in the Fall Ball Little League program that provides an opportunity for keen baseball players to continue playing past the summer months. It aims to take advantage of the (sometimes) great weather in the fall and promote skill development for our baseball players.

The Head Coach for the 9/10 team will be Andrew Currie.

Fall Ball will use  2020  Lilttle League age groups,  therefore to play on the 9/10  team your birthdate should fall between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2011 AND must have played either AA/AAA in their 2019 spring season.

The fall season will consist of  weekly game schedule with games being played on Sundays – beginning Sunday, September 8 and  ending Sunday, October 27.

We will be playing against other District 5 Leagues –  Lynn Valley,  WVLL, as well as LL’s across the bridge –  South Vancouver, Jericho, Trout Lake, Kerrisdale, Trout Lake, and Little Mountain. MSLL does not have access to our fields in the fall for games so there will be no home games at Myrtle. There will be a weekly practice for the team on  Thursday nights at Seycove diamond with the possibility of moving indoors on occasion due to inclement weather and some batting cage practices.

Fall Ball teams are bigger than regular season teams as many players also participate in other sports at this time of year and it is understood that schedules may clash.  We will have a roster of up to fifteen players.   You do not need to be able to play every game – but should be prepared to make a reasonable commitment if you take a spot on the team.

All Little League rules apply with fair play and development paramount.

If games are rained out there will not be make up games due to the time constraints of this time/weather constraints.

The cost per player will be $100.00

This cost will cover umpire fees, game balls, indoor practice space and teamsnap admin.
