Congratulations to the District 5 Big League team who won the BC Provincials tournament and are now headed to Quebec to play in the Nationals.
The team is made up of players from across the D5 leagues. Mount Seymour is represented by Noah Davis, Cam Filippone, Johan Steenken, Daniel Wightman and Kevin Fraser. The team won the Provincial tournament by defeating the D3 team (Whalley, Langley and Coquitlam) in back to back games 6-0 and 12-2.
The Canadian Nationals are hosted in Victoriaville, QC this year. The D5 team will be represented as Team BC and are hoping to advance to the Bigs World Series in South Carolina.
