|The Seniors division is the next step up after the Juniors division. Games in Seniors are played on a regulation size baseball diamond. Games in Seniors are played at parks across the North Shore and the schedule is organized at the District 5 level.
|Grade 9/10/11 (baseball age 15 and 16)
|Games are played at Interriver and Ambleside Parks.
|Seniors teams play twice per week. The schedule will vary from week to week to allow all teams to play one another. The Seniors schedule is provided by District 5 administrator. Rained out games are rescheduled.
|Seniors teams practice once per week. Teams in this division may also book sessions in the Myrtle Park batting cage.
|Teams are made up of 11-14 players. Assessments are not used for this division. Teams are formed via a draft process to try to build balanced teams. As a result friend requests can only be considered in extreme circumstances. If you have a specific player request, please contact the player agent prior to the draft.
|Seniors players receive a team jersey and baseball cap which must be worn to all games. Players return their jersey at the end of the season, but get to keep their cap.
|Bat information: It shall not be more than 36 inches in length, nor more than 2⅝ inches in diameter, and if wood, not less than fifteen-sixteenths (15/16) inches in diameter (7/8 inch for bats less than 30″) at its smallest part. Wood bats taped or fitted with a sleeve may not exceed eighteen (18) inches from the small end. The bat shall not weigh, numerically, more than three ounces less than the length of the bat (e.g., a 33-inch-long bat cannot weigh less than 30 ounces). All bats not made of a single piece of wood shall meet the Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution (BBCOR) performance standard, and such bats shall be so labeled with a silkscreen or other permanent certification mark.
|Seniors teams may call up an MSLL player from the Juniors division.
