Last Reminder to our 2020 players!!
Already an amazing registration turn out for the Spring 2021 Season!! Thank you all for your enthusiasm for the upcoming season. We are extremely confident we will have a pretty typical season this year, pending Dr. Bonnie’s guidelines in early February. The MSLL Board and Operations Committee are preparing to operate as “normal” with the added commitment to Covid Safety Protocols implemented last summer. With so much knowledge and experience built over the year, we are ready to run a fun, safe, active baseball season and encourage you to register now:
Dates and Updates!
Field permit requests have been submitted! Spring training plans are lined up! Assessment dates, coach meetings, first aid sessions are all in the works. Our Board is also revising our league Bylaws to create a current and strong standard for operating our league for years to come. There is much up in the air regarding tournaments, post season, development team travel etc, yet we are prepared to give you as much information as we have at this time with the promise to update you as we know more.
Tentative Dates(pending field permit approval):
- Spring Training (divisions to be announced) – Feb 27/28 to March 27/28
- Assessments (outdoors) – AA, AAA and Majors – March 27/28
- Draft (AA and up) – week of March 29
- Team lists released (all divisions Blastball up) – April 1
- Regular Season starts – April 6
Behind the scenes we are working on updating our Policies, Procedures and Protocols to our website. By the end of January, you will have a great deal of excellent information!
Concession
Due to Covid there will be no concession this year. For those who chose Concession duties as their volunteer role, we encourage you to find other ways to help run our league such as Division Coordinator, Team Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach and Field Prep! Also the trusty hand sanitizing station! Any contribution is welcome, noticed by your kids and builds our community.
