This photo is one of our favourite images from Mount Seymour Little League this year. It shows kids from all 4 MSLL Majors teams, 4 different grades and at least 3 different schools. The photo was taken around an hour after the Orioles and Tigers had played an “important” playoff game. These kids were all together in the Rally Caps field playing hot box and having fun. They are all really good friends and the reason for that friendship is MSLL baseball.
During the games the kids want to win. But when the game ends, they are happy to get their concession candy and go and play with their friends. THIS is the reason that our family commits so much time to MSLL. All the long hours recruiting coaches, building the game schedule, updating the website, managing the social media feeds, answering emails, organizing tryouts and generally working our tails off to keep the league running day to day – are worth it when we see kids playing and having fun in their local community. We believe they are building friendships and creating positive memories that will last a lifetime…
