Thanks to all the volunteers who came out on Saturday to help get Myrtle and Blueridge parks ready for the upcoming season. MSLL is working with DNV to improve the two grass diamonds in Myrtle Park.
Myrtle Majors Diamond
DNV have asked us not to play on the Majors diamond until after the Easter weekend. This means that games have been rearranged as follows:
Wed 1st April MJ Tigers v MJ Orioles -> move to -> Wed 8th April – Majors diamond
Thur 2nd April MJ Royals v MJ Red Sox -> move to -> Wed 15th April – Majors diamond
Wed 8th April AAA Athletics v AAA Angels -> moves to -> Same date – Blueridge diamond
Wed 15th April AAA Rangers v AAA Athletics -> moves to -> Same date – Seycove diamond
Myrtle Seycove Diamond
DNV are delivering 12 yards of dirt to the Seycove field at 11am on Tues 31st March. The first game is scheduled to be played on Seycove on Wed 1st Apr at 5.45pm. Therefore we are asking anyone who is available to come to the Seycove field between Noon and 8pm on Tues with a wheelbarrow and shovel to help move the dirt on to the base paths. Depending on how much work is completed on Tuesday, we will likely be looking for more volunteers on Wednesday during the day.
