Dear Mount Seymour Little League Baseball Families,
Welcome back!
I would like to thank everyone again for their patience and support. It has been a challenging time for all, and the encouragement and care shown by our community has been uplifting to say the least!
In planning our summer season, the MSLL Executive has been extremely mindful to follow the guidelines of viaSport, Baseball BC, and Little League. Our “Return to Play” plan is now posted on our website. I am proud to welcome back our Minors, Majors, and teenage players in Juniors and Seniors age groups for a 6 – 8 week season and get our kids outside safely on the baseball diamond.
For our younger players, I once again apologize that we could not provide a season for you this year, and sincerely hope you come home to us for 2021!
Baseball practice will not look quite the same as it has in previous years but our coaches are committed to providing a summer of skills and development – and above all, fun. Teams have been built around a maximum of 10 players and 2 coaches and there will be no games played at this time. Practices will be skill based while maintaining physical distancing as much as possible.
I encourage you to read our Return to Play documents and carefully go over the player checklists to ensure that coaches, players, and parents are all familiar with the guidelines.
